Circulation - Borrowing Policies for Home Use Books
- Loaning out for library resources starts at 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
- Photocopying of library resources starts at 7:15 am until 5:30 pm, restricted for 15 minutes only.
- Renewal of borrowed book/s and other library resources will be allowed once but must be reported before 9:00 am, with the UCU-Library ID, Library Borrowers Card and the borrowed book for proper due date stamping.
- All library clients responsible for any lost books and other library resources are required for replacement with the same title, edition and author or any book on the same subject and closely related subject (plus the accumulated overdue fines which are applicable only for students).
- Graduate School Thesis and Dissertations, Reserved Books and all resources at the Reference and Periodicals Section are for ROOM USE ONLY.
- Home use loan privileges granted are suspended two (2) weeks from the opening of classes and another two (2) weeks before the final examinations.

Fines
- Students with overdue book/s or withstanding obligations to the library will not be allowed to borrow unless library accounts are settled.
- Overnight books are due before 9:00 am. A fine of Ten Pesos (PhP 10.00) per hour will be collected for an overdue book or One hundred pesos (Php 100.00) a day, including Sundays and Holidays.
- One peso (Php 1.00) per minute will be collected for overdue photocopying and/or one hundred pesos (Php 100.00) per day per book.
- A minimum fine of PhP 100.00 per mutilated page will be collected.
- Library privileges of students who incur overdue accounts or have been found violating library policies on three (3) occasions in a given term shall be suspended for one (1) month.
- For clearance, present Library ID Borrowers Card. A penalty of Php 50.00 will be charged for each lost card. A Php 10.00 fee will be collected if there is no LBC.
- For outgoing referral letters, a ten pesos (10.00) will be collected for outgoing referral letters issued to students referred to other libraries.
- For graduate/college level outside researchers, a fine of Php 100.00/day per visit will be collected while, Php 35.00/day per visit for all other researchers.
Computer Workstation
- The first-come, first-served policy is followed.
- Students are required to log in upon presentation of a validated UCU ID.
- Users must check the assigned computer workstation with the librarian/staff before use. Otherwise, the concerned user will be presumed responsible for any marks or damages and may be required to reimburse the expenses incurred by the University for the repair or replacement of the facility.
- User must not change, delete, or copy any of the settings, programs, and icons permanently arranged inside the computer. Any such change, deletion, or copying is allowed only if it is under the knowledge, supervision, and approval of the Librarian.
- User must stay on the assigned computer workstation for the duration of his/her research.
- User must properly log the computer off before leaving the workstation.
- USBs/Hard drives should be scanned and approved by the library staff on duty.
- Every user is entitled to a maximum usage of two (2) hours per day.
- The following are not allowed:
- Installing own computer software.
- Gaming is strictly prohibited when using the computer workstations.
- The library is not responsible for any loss of personal valuables of the users.
- The library reserves the right to approve and cancel access requests.
- Every user must arrange the chair properly before leaving the workstation.
